Foster Grandparents receive a small stipend for working up to 20 hours a week to assist young children attending daycare centers, Head Start programs, kindergarten, or first grade in public or church schools. The attention, care and support offered by Foster Grandparents, in collaboration with teachers, boost family engagement in school and encourages the development of social, emotional, and academic development.
