Case Managers Break Barriers for Clients

Springboard Community Services works to provide culturally-competent, accessible care to minority and marginalized communities.

In Baltimore, Quetsy Bosque-Longo, Becca Mann, and Adriana Ngom, Case Managers from the Family Violence Project work to meet clients on their own terms rather than dictating what they should do.

All clients assisted by the Family Violence Project Case Managers have experienced some form of violence in their lives.

The clients come to the Case Managers with a myriad of needs ranging of challenges to purchasing a car or applying to a four-year college, according to Adriana Ngom, Intake Case Manager for the Family Violence Project. With two bilingual staff members, the team is able to assist the Central and South American immigrant community of Baltimore with logistical challenges related to renting an apartment, registering children for school, or connecting with a family doctor.

By addressing a client’s pressing need, the Springboard team fosters peace of mind and a strong show of support.
