Bilingual Family Violence Project Case Manager – Baltimore City

The Family Violence Project case manager will provide crisis intervention services that emphasize safety planning, short-term and long term service coordination, and follow-up to victims of crime and family violence.  This position will offer support in connecting clients to vital resources, entitlements and benefits, as well as information about the criminal justice process, victim rights and other victim service programs.  The case manager will provide personal advocacy and legal advocacy, as well as court and medical accompaniment, as necessary.  The goal will be to manage the immediate crisis and also lay the groundwork for a more in-depth involvement with the Family Violence Project.  This position is a regional position and is expected to travel regularly through central Maryland to other program locations.

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or a related field preferred with a minimum of one year experience in community based case management. Bilingual, fluent in Spanish required to assist with translation of agency documents in support of client services. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.

  

Domestic Violence Shelter PRN Support Staff Day and Overnight Shifts– Carroll County

The DVSH PRN Support Staff is responsible for overseeing the house during evening hours and either of the following shifts, Friday and Saturday from 11p to 7a, Saturday and Sunday from 7a to 3p and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm with the possibility of covering during other shifts and/or holidays

This position will also be responsible for responding to 24 hour hotline calls and calls that come in through the Lethality Assessment Protocol phone, observing cameras, cleaning different areas of the house and to maintain the overall safety for clients in the DVSH and will work in collaboration with other case managers within the DVSH program to respond to the needs of victims and their families. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.
