Case Manager – Howard County

 The Case Manager is responsible for providing intake, assessment, and crisis intervention services and will meet with both scheduled clients and walk in clients presenting with a need.  Additionally, the Case Manger will also provide information and referrals to internal services and external community partners, who can best serve identified needs.  The Case Manger will carry a caseload of long and short term case management clients/families.

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or a related field preferred with a minimum of two year experience in community based case management. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.

 

Community Outreach and Marketing Manager – Baltimore City

 The Community Outreach and Marketing Manager will be responsible for raising the awareness and visibility of the agency by designing an annual integrated marketing plan, leading content strategy, managing digital and in-person outreach efforts, and cultivating cross-functional relationships with leadership, staff, board members, potential clients, partner agencies, and institutional & individual donors.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with five years marketing and two years event planning experience preferred.  Experience in web design, grant writing, journalism and knowledge in non-profit and development, preferred.  Applicant must possess strong communication skills, exceptional creativity, project management and comfortable with public speaking. 

 

Domestic Violence Shelter PRN Support Staff Day and Overnight Shifts– Carroll County

The DVSH PRN Support Staff is responsible for overseeing the house during evening hours and either of the following shifts, Friday and Saturday from 11p to 7a, Saturday and Sunday from 7a to 3p and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm with the possibility of covering during other shifts and/or holidays

This position will also be responsible for responding to 24 hour hotline calls and calls that come in through the Lethality Assessment Protocol phone, observing cameras, cleaning different areas of the house and to maintain the overall safety for clients in the DVSH and will work in collaboration with other case managers within the DVSH program to respond to the needs of victims and their families. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.

 

Family Violence Project Case Manager – Harford County

 The Family Violence Project case manager will provide crisis intervention services that emphasize safety planning, short-term and long term service coordination, and follow-up to victims of crime and family violence.  This position will offer support in connecting clients to vital resources, entitlements and benefits, as well as information about the criminal justice process, victim rights and other victim service programs.  The case manager will provide personal advocacy and legal advocacy, as well as court and medical accompaniment, as necessary.  The goal will be to manage the immediate crisis and also lay the groundwork for a more in-depth involvement with the Family Violence Project.  This position is a regional position and is expected to travel regularly through central Maryland to other program locations.

Program Assistant – Carroll County Adult Day

Violence Intervention Group Facilitator – Carroll County

The Violence Intervention Group Facilitator is responsible for completing intakes, reporting to referring agencies, reporting numbers to agency, managing billing, collecting insurance and copays, and assisting with community presentations on dating violence and healthy relationships.

Master’s degree in mental health or social work field with an LG in social work or counseling preferred; Bachelor’s degree in mental health or social work-related field is required. Experience with domestic violence, group therapy, and working with adverse populations preferred.
