Healthy Family Programming

The arrival of a new baby is a joyous event, but can also be a stressful time, especially for first time parents who must adjust to changes in their lifestyles and relationships. Healthy Families Howard County program helps first time parents become comfortable in their new roles. Support services are customized to meet each family’s individual needs and include home visits from Springboard Family Support Specialists who provide age appropriate curriculum and referrals to community resources as needed to families with the goal of strengthening the parent and child relationship.
