The more that others can help a survivor of domestic abuse to heal, the more the individual and family can focus on their own growth and processing.
This is true in Carroll County where an alliance between the Carroll County General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC) and Springboard’s domestic violence prevention program has strengthened our ability to serve and lifted the spirits of staff and families. In recent months, the Club has donated food for our pantry, clothing, coats, toys, laundry detergent, hygiene kits, and birthday gifts.
“The unsolicited generosity of the women’s club, has strengthened our ability to serve and has brought joy to the children and women in our community,” said Elizabeth Davoren, domestic abuse prevention program manager.
Springboard Community Services is the primary provider of services to support survivors of domestic violence in Carroll County. Carroll County General Federation of Women’s Club(GFWC) is part of a worldwide group committed to advocating for women and children
