Special consideration will be given to candidates who have experience working with those impacted by substance use disorders, experience working with children, and those who employ the tenets of trauma-informed care in their therapeutic approach. Those with diverse backgrounds and fluency in a second language are strongly encouraged to apply.

Clinicians will have the ability to make between $50,000 to $85,000 under our fee-for-service model with an average caseload of 26+ clients, coupled with a salaried reimbursement for non-billable services, such as training, clinical supervision, and participation in treatment team meetings. SCS values professional development and encourages its Clinicians to apply for free CEU courses that will provide enrichment and growth.

The Database Administrator is primarily responsible for the agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and its related systems as well as the management and flow of information to and from the system. This position will be tasked with ensuring on-time, in-scope, within budget completion of outcomes while maintaining appropriate and timely communication with staff, stakeholders, project partners and the leadership team. The Database Administrator must be able to work both independently and as part of a team while managing competing priorities and varying timelines.

 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience coordinating or managing IT related projects.  Proven facilitation, team leadership, technical project management and problem solving skills are essential. Experience managing an Electronic Health Record system preferred, Netsmart’s myEvolv software a plus.

The DVSH PRN Support Staff is responsible for overseeing the house during evening hours and either of the following shifts, Friday and Saturday from 11p to 7a, Saturday and Sunday from 7a to 3p and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm with the possibility of covering during other shifts and/or holidays 

 

This position will also be responsible for responding to 24 hour hotline calls and calls that come in through the Lethality Assessment Protocol phone, observing cameras, cleaning different areas of the house and to maintain the overall safety for clients in the DVSH and will work in collaboration with other case managers within the DVSH program to respond to the needs of victims and their families. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.

The Family Violence Project case manager will provide crisis intervention services that emphasize safety planning, short-term and long term service coordination, and follow-up to victims of crime and family violence.  This position will offer support in connecting clients to vital resources, entitlements and benefits, as well as information about the criminal justice process, victim rights and other victim service programs.  The case manager will provide personal advocacy and legal advocacy, as well as court and medical accompaniment, as necessary.  The goal will be to manage the immediate crisis and also lay the groundwork for a more in-depth involvement with the Family Violence Project.  This position is a regional position and is expected to travel regularly through central Maryland to other program locations. 

 

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or a related field preferred with a minimum of one year experience in community based case management. Applicant must have a current driver’s license with safe driving record.

The Senior Grants and Accounting Manager will lead all day-to-day finance operations, supervise a team of staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and grants administration. The Senior Grants and Accounting Manager will ensure that systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation and overall fiscal compliance. The Senior Grants and Accounting Manager will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer on matters of budgeting, reporting, strategic thinking, and monitoring. This position will also work closely with senior management to support program operations. 

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 5 years of accounting experience in lieu of education.  Federal grant management and audit experience preferred.

Under the direct supervision of the YRC Program Manager, the YRC case manager will provide direct support and services to individual youth or youth of families with heads of households ranging from 18-24 years old. As the YRC Case Manager, you will provide crisis intervention services that emphasize safety planning, short-term and long term service coordination, and follow-up to youth and young adults in need of supportive services. This position will offer support in connecting clients to vital resources, entitlements and benefits, as well as information about the criminal justice process, educational system and various programs and services in the community. The case manager will provide advocacy as and when necessary while coordinating efforts of the Workforce Development Specialist, Peer Supporter, Navigator, and any other team member of YRC/SCS. The goal will be to manage the immediate crisis and also lay the groundwork for a more in-depth involvement with the Youth Resource Center.

Master’s Degree in the social science or educational fields with minimum one (1) year of work experience preferred.  Bachelor’s Degree in the social science or educational fields with minimum two (2) years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, their families, and/or adults as a resource coordinator, case manager, counselor, therapist, guidance counselor, social worker, or other similar position

F.T. was appointed Springboard Community Services as CEO in September of 2015 following a national search that yielded more than 200 candidates. Prior to joining SCS, he served for nearly 15 years as President & CEO of AIDS Interfaith Residential Services, Inc. / Empire Homes of Maryland. F.T.’s chief duties include leading fund and partnership development, cultivating the board of directors, and establishing the agency’s strategic direction and vision. A Florida native, F.T. enjoys cooking, traveling, and attending live music and dance performances.
