Jessica has been working with Family and Children’s Services since February 2019. Her current role is a Domestic Violence Safe House Case Manager. As a Case Manager, Jessica provides crisis services, short terms service, coordination and follow-up to victims of domestic violence who enter the safe house. She also answers the Carroll County Domestic Violence Hotline and provides supportive services to those who call in. Jessica graduated from the University of Baltimore in December 2018 where she received a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and a Trauma-Informed Certificate. She has held several internships throughout the years that were centered on case management and victim services, including an internship at the Department of Juvenile Services as a Female Intervention Team Case Manager. Jessica has mentored at-risk populations at the Jaffa Institute in Israel and Rise Up Community Center in Carroll County. At FCS, Jessica enjoys the strong connections that she is able to create when working with victims of Domestic Violence. Jessica feels that it is extremely rewarding to know that she was able to make a positive impact in their lives and be able to help them get back on their feet.
