Shayla Smith is the Program Coordinator for the Reach Partnership School in Baltimore City. In her role, Shayla serves as the liaison between FCS and Reach to develop and implement school-based programs by engaging in crisis management and case management. Shayla is a proud Coppin State University graduate, earning her B. A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and M.ED in Rehabilitation Counseling. Shayla began her career in 2007 working in Mental and Behavioral Health with Mosaic Community Services. In recent years, Shayla has worked in Homeless Services with Catholic Charities, St. Vincent De Paul of Baltimore, and Prologue Inc. Shayla is also a dancer, trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, liturgical, and pointe which she plans to incorporate into her therapeutic process. Shayla has a strong passion for working with the youth, and is excited about aiding in their prosperous future.
