Jeff Thompson has been working in the mental health field for over five years. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015 and his Master of Science in Community Mental Health Counseling in 2018 both from McDaniel College. Jeff has worked with a variety of populations and has experience providing treatment in individual, family, and group settings. Jeff takes an eclectic approach to therapy having used techniques from various theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. Jeff believes the foundation of therapy starts with meeting his clients where they are at and developing a strong therapeutic relationship.
